I created this page to support the medical cannabis industry here in Australia and to help the first and only federally approved medical cannabis manufacturing and research company in attracting state government accountability for the approval of their application to commence business in this state.
-The application has been received by NSW Health (Gov.) yet after numerous requests; they simply don’t reply to queries or send any kind of ‘receipt of acknowledgment’ (18 months...).
-The application has NOT been sent back unsuccessful. (18 months...)
-NSW Health have been sitting on the application for 18months..., very skilfully and backhandedly dodging responsibility to process its approval.
*{I}* ...I postulate the reason they are stalling is because; for the first time, they've got an application in their hands from a legitimate, registered, expertly knowledgeable and industry supported company who has jumped through the necessary hoops and ticked ALL the right boxes...
... furthermore, as there also would be legal ramifications for destroying or trashing an application, it probably just got accidentally, mysteriously and inexplicably misplaced in their storeroom with the rags and dirty sponges hoping it'll deteriorate into forgotten-ness...
...all they've got left to stop medical cannabis in Australia is to try to kick it under the rug - well I don't think so... :)
They are gripping the rail with fear of the implications because it IS HAPPENING, they know they can't stop it and they don't know enough about it to be able to control it. What they think they know about cannabis is that it's a 'drug'; and that there's a 'war on drugs'; and that makes it bad; and so on; ...
...and that makes them look stupid.
Q/. How many people can hold a discussion with you and tell you how 'bad' medical cannabis is and be able to support their anti-cannabis claims based on fact not fear or propaganda?
A/. Not one. Not many of us even know much about the plant and its medicinal properties at all, let alone how to tell you it's bad for you when it's not. (To be just as ridiculous and ludicrous: I could tell you how drinking water is bad for you and passionately associate it to a high risk of fatality because I heard -thought I learnt - that someone choked and drowned on half a glass of water! :)>
With very few cannabis experts throughout the world and the hush-hush stigma associated to it strangling the career path, not many people know much about the plant at all. That’s one great reason why we need to embrace it; to research it and develop it into positive and progressive uses such as medicine, building materials, land regeneration, paper, clothing...
We need to stop the harmful use and abuse of the generally low quality, ill prepared and undeveloped cannabis represented in the ‘black market’ culture. There is no war on this so-called 'drug', just an excuse for government expenditure and State accountability (keeping international face) which requires more expenditure in policing and detaining the chronically ill who are forced into the black market seeking the plant’s medicinal qualities to heal or cope with extreme chronic conditions.
Police are also dangerously, and in some cases fatally policing and detaining our children (the ever curious teen/adolescent, who of course, is invincible, will live forever and just has to try everything! - even if it is just once). Just a small stint in detainment, or even a negative experience with the law can have enough effect to traumatise the positive growth and development of our children. And to add hammer to nail, salt and liquor to open wound - Magistrates are giving sentences out like they were Father Christmas! It's quite sickening to watch our youth imprisoned one after the other for petty, non-criminal, offences.
:)...A bit of gravity, depth, info and emotion to put a bit of contrast on the situation :) lol..., and to hopefully arouse your passion – guess that’s why I’m posting this.
Anyway, in any case or any event:
Flagged by us, the people, and a particularly stalwart company built on blood, sweat, a long winding intimately fated path with medical cannabis and a pensioner’s budget that networks to many large and small corners of the world; this robust and true cause won’t be stopping for any government!
The chronically ill are suffering unnecessarily with modern health regimes and their harmful, never fully tested, synthetic medicines which furthermore require additional modern pharmaceutical synthetics to treat side effects etc, etc and so on....
Help bring back a natural herbal medicine that relieves sufferers of their chronic conditions without aggravating and/or complicating their condition (in a lot of cases it is the only truly effective healing treatment available).
It is of great offense to my nature and against my culture to refuse help to someone in need where I have the capacity to help.

Let's get the ball rolling! Batter up, Surf's up.. whatever.. let's just do it. There are people in extreme suffering; and there are people living out the end of their days in this condition!
Thing is people know where to get the medicine - the disgusting injustice to humanity is how this government system is proactively taking the most extreme measures to ensure that if you have an illness that medical cannabis can effectively treat and take any steps to educate or medicate yourself then you're at war with the government... just politically criminalising our youth, sick, dying and suffering... which, to understate, is so much more than just wrong and on so many levels!
Where's the compassion?, the humanity? words so mockingly used these days but seriously:
